The Nashville Predators kick off their 2023 rookie camp today with an on-ice practice at Centennial Sportsplex before heading to Florida on Thursday for the Southeast Rookie Showcase.

The roster for rookie camp and the showcase plus dates and times for the tournament can be found here.

The Predators also released their 2023 training camp roster and schedule, complete with times and and locations, on Wednesday. Nashville will have a solid mixture of youth and veteran leadership represented at camp, which kicks off with the first on-ice practice on Sept. 21 at Ford Ice Bellevue.

As training camp begins, Nashville Hockey Now has detailed several of the team’s key storylines and players of interest to keep your eye on.

Former Predators Brian McGrattan was one bad man during his time in the NHL. Just ask Ryan Reaves.

Around the NHL and National Hockey Now

Boston Hockey Now: Boston has announced its list of the Historic 100 List of Bruins Players. Some names may surprise you, while others are no-brainers.

Colorado Hockey Now: The Avalanche continue to add to their depth, and new-addition Tomas Tatar fits that mold.

Florida Hockey Now: Matthew Tkachuk has had a positive offseason and is ready to get to training camp after being injured in the Stanley Cup Final last season.

Philly Hockey Now: Keith Jones thinks the Flyers should be more difficult to play against. While the game has changed a lot since Fred Shero was behind the bench, being a difficult, tough opponent is still very much a part of the NHL game.

NHL.com: As former Predator and fourth overall pick Seth Jones enters his 11th season, he believes he can take control of the team’s leadership responsibilities. With the captaincy up for grabs with former captain Jonathan Toews no longer int he picture, Jones says he would be honored to take on that role.
