With their magic number down to one, the Nashville Predators can clinch a playoff spot Tuesday night by securing one point against the Winnipeg jets at Bridgestone Arena.

The Predators currently occupy the first wild card spot in the Western Conference, two points ahead of the Vegas Golden Knights.

Nashville is riding a two-game win streak against the Jets, having won two of its previous three meetings this season.

The Predators lost their first matchup with Winnipeg 6-3 back on Nov. 9, then reeled off a 3-2 win on Nov. 26 and a 4-2 win on March 13 that started a six-game win streak and was right in the middle of the team’s franchise-record 18-game point streak.

Juuse Saros is 2-1 against the Jets with a .909 save percentage and 3.03 goals-against average this season.
