The Nashville Predators’ run of bad luck continued on Tuesday as they fell 5-3 to the Anaheim Ducks at Bridgestone Arena.

It was their sixth loss in their last 10 games, and their 11th loss at home — the most in the Central Division and third-most in the Western Conference.

Juuse Saros allowed five goals for the fourth time in his last five starts and the seventh time in 31 starts this season. Anaheim held a 5-0 lead three minutes into the third period before the Predators reeled off three goals from Alex Carrier, Philip Tomasino and Denis Gurianov.

Speaking of the Ducks, per Daily Faceoff’s Frank Seravalli, they’ve reportedly put center Trevor Zegras on the trade block. Just 24 hours ago, Anaheim traded defenseman Jamie Drysdale and a 2025 second-round pick to the Philadelphia Flyers for forward Cutter Gauthier.

The Predators have had their share of defensive issues recently, but there are a few potential solutions they should embrace to help turn things around.

Filip Forsberg’s teammates sung his praises after the 29-year-old forward was named to his second All-Star team last week.
