The NHL announced the first 32 players who will compete at the 2024 NHL All-Star Weekend in Toronto Feb. 1-3, and Nashville Predators forward Filip Forsberg was picked as the team’s representative.

It marks the second time Forsberg has been named an All-Star. He also received the honor in 2015 when he scored a then-career high 33 goals and 64 points in 82 games, leading the Predators in both categories.

Through 38 games, Forsberg leads the Predators in goals (19), assists (24), points (43), multi-point games (13), game-winning goals (4) and overtime goals (3). He’s tied for the league lead in overtime goals and 10th goals, and he ranks seventh in game-winning goals, 11th in shots per game (3.89) and 15th in points.

Forsberg is currently on pace for 39.9 goals and 90.4 points. Below are a few of his more memorable moments of the season.

In addition to Forsberg, the Predators have four other skaters listed on the fan vote — Ryan O’Reilly, Roman Josi, Ryan McDonagh and Gustav Nyquist.

O’Reilly is second on the Predators with 15 goals and 32 points. He’s also tied for the second-most power-play goals in the NHL (10) and he’s 17th in power-play points (17). Josi is tied for sixth among defensemen in goals (8) and power-play points (15), and he ranks first in shots (126) and seventh in points (30).

Nyquist is fourth on the team with 9 goals and 29 points, while McDonagh leads the Predators in penalty-kill time per game (3:06) and averages the second-most ice time behind Josi (21:25).

Fans can vote for 12 additional All-Star selections via the NHL web site, the NHL app and or by tweeting “#NHLAllStarVote” with a player’s full name on the social media platform X. Voting closes Thursday, Jan. 11 at 11:59 p.m. EST.
