Nashville Predators general manager Barry Trotz hasn’t had much spare time to vacation this summer.

He secured the franchise’s future at goaltender by signing Juuse Saros to a long-term contract extension, made a splash on the first day of the new league year by adding Jonathan Marchessault, Steven Stamkos and Brady Skjei, and pulled off a series of smaller moves to fortify the team’s depth at every position.

Despite the additions, the Predators remain a 30-1 longshot to win the 2025 Stanley Cup. Those interested in fading oddsmakers may also find value in a reliable online bookie with in-play betting options.
