The 2023-24 hockey season is quickly approaching with Nashville Predators players starting to find their ways to town for training camp. Plenty of questions still need answering before the regular season as Barry Trotz and Andrew Brunette begin their first seasons as general manager and head coach, respectively.

Predators: In Case You Missed It

Predators fans appear to be somewhat more optimistic, cautiously of course, as Trotz officially takes on his new role. A recent poll by The Athletic had Predators fans rank their confidence in the team’s front office.

The poll resulted in Nashville ranking 23rd in the NHL — up two spots from a year ago, but still among the bottom third of the league, which symbolizes that Trotz and company still have a long way to go to earn back the trust and respect of the fanbase.

With Trotz a little over two months into his tenure as GM, Nashville Hockey Now has been looking back at David Poile’s run with the team. Our latest reflected on his legacy of free agent signings.
